Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

New Living

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

NASB

Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

The Message

Just thought you might be comforted by the same words that are comforting me this morning! I remember memorizing this verse as a teenager. It's amazing when we focus on God's words and turn our worries into prayers, He really does give us His peace.

May you have a day filled with peace, in spite of what is going on around you!

You too! This is my son's favorite section. He's very impressed with himself that he can recite it from memory (yeah - we're working on that pride thing... LOL) I just love that he's hiding God's Word in his heart. GREAT verses!

Funny coming to your blog and then reading Heather's comment...my son left his bible on the table on a recent visit and I was curious where his bookmark was at and this is the very verse he had been focusing on....when things are repeated, it's time for me to pay attention! Thanks for being part of the delivery system...wishing you love in your day ~
